Cytotec (Misoprostol)

Cytotec is prescribed for reduction of risk of a stomach ulcer at the patients using nonsteroid antiinflammatory drugs.

Take Cytotec according to prescriptions of your doctor. For definition of an optimum dose attentively read the instruction to a drug.
Cytotec is taken during meal.
Last reception of a drug is prescribed to the end of the day, before a sleep. Intake of Cytotec during meal and before a sleep reduces risk of a diarrhea.
Do not take antacids, containing magnesium within 1 hour before or 2 hours after intake of Cytotec.

Cytotec reduces amount of the acid produced by a stomach, and protects its jelly coat, helping to reduce risk of occurrence of a stomach ulcer.

Take Cytotec according to doctor's instructions. If you have forgotten to take a medicine, make it as soon as remember. Do not take over more than the prescribed dose.

Store Cytotec at temperature of 77 degrees by Farenheit (25 degrees) or below, in protected from a moisture and light place, separately from children and domestic animals.

Do not use Cytotec if:

• You are pregnant.
• You have allergic responses on components of Cytotec or this kind of medicines (prostaglandins).
• You have a history of inflammatory bowel disease (IBS), dehydration, or other problems which can be worsened at a dehydration.

During treatment with Cytotek following side effects can be observed:

• Constipation; a diarrhea; gas; a headache; an indigestion; a nausea; vomiting

• Serious allergic responses; a dense black stool; constant vomiting; a diarrhea; vomiting which is similar to a coffee ground.
